Spanish Association of Historical Festivals and Reenactments

The Federation of Carthaginians and Romans is an active member of the Spanish Association of Historical Festivals and Reenactments, which was founded in the year 2000, precisely in our city of Cartagena.

This association aims to bring together all federations, associations, administrations, and organizations related to shows and festivals that fall under the umbrella of historical reenactments and narratives, focusing on the cultural aspect while blending it with entertainment.

It was created with the goal of unifying efforts among the different groups, enriching them, promoting them, and developing joint projects. Currently, the A.E.F.R.H. boasts a vast array of festivals across the entire national territory, with new historically significant projects joining regularly.

Additionally, the Association is part of the Confédération Européenne des Fêtes et Manifestations Historiques (C.E.F.M.H.), making its European outreach a prominent reference point.
